FISHING TRIPS

River severn

Our stretch of the River Severn is known as the ‘Lower Severn’. With its width and depths of up to 20ft the Severn’s challenging moody waters attract anglers from all over the country. It is home to many species of fish including barbel, pike, carp, bream, zander, chubb, roach, rudd, perch, bleak and dace.

Our Guided Fishing Packages can be tailored to suit your personal fishing requirements. Our experienced guides will take you to the very best spots on the river and offer advice, hints and tips to help improve your angling skills. Our craft has also been professionally fitted with a Lowrance Elite-5 fish finder. Our boats are also rigorously maintained and serviced regularly.

PRICES

All prices are per boat and not per person. The boats can seat up to 2 adults fishing plus equipment.

Extended Fishing Packages

If you’re in the area for longer than a day, why not do a ‘mix and match’ fishing package? You could do 3 days guided fishing and 2 days self-drive, or 1 day guided and 3 days self-drive. Whatever you want to do it can be arranged, just get in touch to discuss.

Food and Drink

Customers are advised to bring their own lunch, or to make life easier you can pre-order one from the on-site restaurant – just see the ‘Pack a Picnic’ pages for more information.

All anglers are required to have their own rod licence!
These can be purchased online by visiting the Environment Agency website.
Severn Expeditions operate on a ‘catch and release’ policy only. Any anglers caught leaving the river with fish will be reported to the Police and Environment Agency
